About Us

A busy street scene with motorcycles near the Elks Lodge.
A busy street scene with motorcycles near the Elks Lodge.

On Green Street in Beverly, the Elks Lodge is the kind of place where a bike ride honoring fallen heroes ends with a cold drink and a warm handshake. Members gather here not because it's convenient, but because it means something. The lodge has earned a 4.3-star reputation on the strength of real moments: a free Veterans Day meal for servicemembers, a Friday night cheesesteak that costs ten dollars and tastes like it should cost twice that, and a dining room that fills up for charity rides benefiting homeless veterans.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has operated lodges like this one for over 150 years, and the Beverly chapter carries that mission forward on a very local scale. You'll find members who show up for each other at funerals and fundraisers alike. The lodge connects you to a national network while keeping its feet planted firmly in Burlington County.

What We Offer

The lodge hosts Friday night dinners that have become a genuine tradition, with hearty plates at prices that would embarrass most restaurants. Special occasion meals, holiday events, and community fundraisers round out a calendar that keeps members coming back week after week.

Beyond the dining room, the lodge offers membership benefits through the national Elks organization, including scholarship programs, veteran support initiatives, and charitable giving opportunities. The facility is also available for private gatherings, making it a practical choice for members who want to host events in a space that already feels like home. If you support veterans and community service, this is where that support takes a tangible form.

"I have been here to eat for two special occasions. The first was a free meal on a friday around Veterans Day. And last night for a great cheese steak. Cant beat a $10.00 dinner. Friend them on Facebook and learn all there up coming events."

"This place is full of racist people, not all but most. My parents became members over 3 years ago and every event there's a problem with another member treating us like crap. I wish my parents would stop going here, they obviously hate black people! I've heard several racial comments in this lodge. One night a few of our family members walked in the door and one guy sitting at the bar said, "I didn't know we were hosting the NAACP meeting here". Not funny, I won't be back"

"Place is redone. Rented this place for birthday party. They had the nerve to tell me to mop and sweep floors. What's the point of renting a space."

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
